How does this happen?
We’ve reached the end of another school year. I sent her off for her first day of school thinking I had all the time in the world. She was a little hesitant so we bought her a “The Greatest” ribbon to wear on the special day. Today was the last time we’ll send her off in the morning. I’m sure I still have that ribbon somewhere. She may not have worn it, but it still applies.
Snow, finally
Elizabeth may have willed this day into existence from pure longing. We woke up to a thick blanket of snow and everyone’s phones blinking with the message that school had been cancelled. While I cleared the driveway for the second time (the rest of the house slept during the first round of shoveling), Elizabeth and Greta made the most of it.
Welcome…
… to the new blog for Amy Martin Photography. 2010 was a big year for growth and changes and what better way to start 2011 than with a fresh new blog.
Loyal followers probably noticed that the old blog got a little (okay, a lot) neglected once we rolled into the busy season last fall. The old blog was cumbersome to update and as I found myself more and more crunched for time it got easy to just pop those previews up on Facebook.
But all that is going to change in 2011. My resolution for the new year is to take better care of my blog. That means more regular posts featuring our clients. But it also means sharing more about what’s going on behind the scenes at the studio and in our personal lives. We have a lot planned for the new year, we hope you’ll stop back every once in a while to check us out.
Peace,
Amy
(Don’t worry, you can still visit the old blog - here.)
