I am a portrait photographer based in Kansas City and this is where I share recent images of some of the babies, children and families who come my way, and little bits from my own busy life.

This you should know about me: I cherish my job. It allows me to do something meaningful for others. As a mom to three rapidly growing girls, I treasure most those images that capture not just their beauty, but their spirit, in a timeless and artistic way and this is my goal with each person who graces my viewfinder.

What do you get when you have a precious, pouty-lipped newborn who sleeps for two hours straight and a knock-out three year old who thinks he’s a pirate? The photo shoot every photographer dreams about and too many images to edit. Thanks, guys, for a wonderful afternoon.

ellie

When we set this appointment up Ellie’s mom said she would be fine in the cold; they really didn’t want to wait any longer. Who knew it could be 66 degrees in January?

It was a beautiful (if maybe a little too windy) day. Stacey (Femme Fab) rocked the makeup. And Ellie and her mom showed up with a truckload of great clothes and incredible accessories for us to choose from. Add to that a beautiful, talented, kind and friendly girl and you have a photographer’s dream.
